This movie is inspired by true incident between the two very isolated villages Phaochang and Phangshang (screen name only) in eastern site of Konyak Naga during the time of head hunting. Konyaks considered headhunting as their highest profession. After the coming of christianity, head hunting ended among the Konyaks in 60s (sixties). However, the fear and the vengeance was not completely disappeared and the head hunting continued till 90s (nineties). Enemity between Phaochang & Phangshang villages has continued since forefather thought they are neighbours. They feared to visit each others' village, they feared to cultivate the field for farming. Killing and murdering becomes their everyday routine and the silent war continues.... Living in fear and Dying of hunger was the biggest threat to them. Considering the situation, a man name Sheihba, from Phaochang village came to their rescued. He initiated the peace talk between the two villages and finally come to an agreement "Forgive and Forget". However, few villagers was against Sheihba for making peace with their bitter enemies and had plan to avenge him. Phangshang villagers leading by Wennyei headed to Phaochang village with overjoy. In the meantime, Sheihba was found murdered in cold blood on that very day. His son Pangtok (dumb by birth) was misinformed of his fathers' being killed by Phangshang's men. He at once took his gun and ran after Phangshang villagers and attacked on their way and had many of them killed. Phangshang men was not awared of this attack so their leader Wennyei came to know the attacker was none other than Sheiba's son Pangtok. He and his men finally captured Pangtok alive and summoned Phaochang people seeking their proper reason behind attacking and killing his men in wilderness. After a long arguement between the two villagers, they learned that Pangtok was misinformed, the real killer was his own man. Thought Wennyei lost many of his men for no wrong they have done, he felt sorry for them than losing his men. He yet again promised peace to Phaochang Village, released Pangtok unharm and continue his journey.... Pangtok avenged his father after few days.
