From 7 minutes of Reylo Trash, it goes to 5 minutes. And you know why? Copyright. Fucking Disney and fucking YouTube Copyright. I’m not making any money with this shit. And it isn’t the first time that happens, YouTube. I’m fan of Star Wars and Coldplay, and it seems I can’t express it thanks to your fucking Copyright of shit. Sorry about all the bad words, but I’m tired of Copyright. So fucking tired. Thanks to it, this video that took me hours to make and which I was very inspired to make, is now half wasted. --- Anyway, let’s get to the REAL description of the video. I made this video because I’m tired of antis. This video is meant to show you why we ship Reylo, and as the title says, the parallels between Kylo Ren and Rey. While we can’t make you ship it, we can show you WHY we ship them. And though this will serve for nothing and people are still people and they'll keep hating, at least it can show you the amazing interaction between these two characters. I'll explain the video here: -Voiceovers: “You're so lonely. So afraid to leave”. This quote pretty sums up Rey's character. I put this voiceover because it explain everything Rey is. She has lived in a desert her entire life, she doesn’t remember her family and she has no friends to talk to. She is complete lonely in a world made of nothing but sand. Kylo went through all her thoughts and read them. Even Rey herself proves it. “I didn’t know there was this much green in the whole Galaxy”. “You… You're afraid. That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader” This quote sums up Kylo's character, his purpose and his fears. Rey turned the tables invading Ren's mind, and this sentence describes him perfectly. “Ren believed it was no longer valuable to us. That the girl was all we needed”. There you have. I chose to put this because it’s the very first sentence where our two main characters are mentioned together. From separate lifes to one. “I feel it again-“ “I’ll show you the Dark Side” “-the pull to the light”. This shows Kylo's struggle. He wants to belong, to be part of the Dark, but the truth is, he can’t. There’s this tiny little light in him that stops him from being what he wishes to be. And then the lyrics start. “Lights go out and I can’t be saved”. This reflects Kylo's darkest part of personality, 'cause he is willing to do anything to belong to the Dark Side, to complete his training. And to do that, he kills his own father. And then, we have a large part of Kylo's scenes. “Show me again the power of the darkness…” “Sir, the droid was spotted heading west, with a girl.” “…And I will let nothing stand in our way” “What girl?”. This is meant to show how Kylo Ren insists of being part of the Dark and that nothing will stop him, but then there’s this girl whom unconsciously is distracting Kylo from his purpose. And that is shown on the interrogation scene, when he pays more attention to Rey's thoughts than the map itself. Then, that question leads to Rey. To Rey's life. I put scenes of Rey before meeting Kylo and knowing nothing about the Force, and the secrets of her past. Then, Rey's life leads us to Kylo Ren. She inevitably meets Kylo Ren. And that first meeting leads us to the beginning of Rey and Kylo's relationship. And finally, the rest of the video shows Kylo and Rey's relationship throughout the whole movie. To put it simply, the video goes like this: Introduction of Rey’s character – Introduction of Kylo Ren's character – Brief introduction of Kylo and Rey's first meeting – Kylo Ren’s character depth - Rey's character depth – Kylo Ren and Rey's relationship development I wanted to show how no matter what, Rey will finally meet Kylo. That thanks to destiny's affairs, Rey's life will undoubtedly lead to Kylo's life and vice versa. Separate lifes that become one life. Their relationship is tied by an unbreakable ribbon. See how difficult is to make videos? I don’t just put scenes in a crazy way not caring about the lyrics. I put effort and depth in the way I unite the scenes, add voiceovers and overlays, the lyrics matching the scenes, and the scenes following a path.
