A bike camping trip into Los Padres National Forest. Started up on the ridge road just east of Gibraltar Rd. First day was almost all downhill toward Mono campground. We were warned that the route we chose for the second day might have 'some washouts'. In fact the road was nearly impassible in a dozen spots and we risked life and limb to get through it. We gave up early when we worked our way from Gibraltar Trail to Gibraltar Rd near the dam. Did the slow churn back up over the ridge line and down into Santa Barbara in the dark. As per usual with our bike camping, it was brutal and miserable. Can't wait for the next trip. This is my first time trying a dumb recap video (you can tell, lots of stupid clipart and transitions).
