How to Program Ford Keys in 4 Steps Using FDRS | The Locksmith Club

In this video, I break down the 4 essential steps to start programming Ford car keys using the FDRS (Ford Diagnostic & Repair System). If you’re looking to get into Ford key programming as a locksmith, this is the setup you need! Here are the 4 steps: 1. Buy a laptop (I recommend a Panasonic Toughbook for reliability) You can buy used one in eBay. Mine cost around 750$ but you may find cheaper, maybe a basic laptop will do the trick if you not into EEPROM and stuff like that. 2. Buy and activate a Cardaq3 Plus device That's a link where you can buy it from a certify seller in AMAZON(I also bought mine over there, and its worth every penny :) https://amzn.to/3GU3RNk You can also buy different vci that might be cheaper, just make sure is compatible to FDRS. I used cardaq3 and I am very happy with that and I also do the new nissan, Volvo and chrysler so its fits all brands, highly recommended. when you buy its from Amzon there will be a link and phone number on how to activate it. I also attached a link that can help you. you can jump to minute 1:25 .    • Installing and registering Drew cardaq plus 3   3. Sign up for a Ford Motorcraft account I am adding a link to register. I HIGHLY recommend to call them and let them help you download the software for free. They have a great costumer service. https://www.motorcraftservice.com 4. Create an NASTF account to access security credentials I am adding the link to register, if you don't have an account with them. Normally its should take less then a week if you have all documentation. I also recommended to call them after sending the 1st attempt documents and not be lazy with that. https://wp.nastf.org Once you have this setup, you’re ready to program Ford keys like a pro.
