Cordless drill should not be used for mixing concrete, mortar or grout. While it certainly is possible, this type of use puts too much strain on the motor of the drill. Cordless drills not made for high-torque applications. They are designed for high speed, low torque applications like drilling holes and setting screws. Mixing concrete, mortar or grout requires a more powerful motor with lower speed and higher torque. The consistency of pretty much any mix is too thick for a cordless drill to handle and using it, especially on a regular basis, will burn out the motor sooner than later.
