Many of you have a lot of concern when you have a MRI or X ray stating that you have a tumour. Any child of 4 to 15 years worry of the night pain, the pain that comes at night. If the pain is there for long and after visiting doctors also it is not going then it is worth investigating. At least you need to have a plain MRI and an X ray together. Once you are suspicious of having a tumour then you need to undergo a biopsy. You can’t do biopsy first and go backwards. Biopsy has to be planned well with the help of your radiologist and with minimal approach i.e. the J needle or the core needle biopsy. Once you get the diagnosis then it is the treatment per se. 90% of times usually the bone tumours are benign. So you need not worry about it. Seek the advice of an orthopaedic oncosurgeon.
