** TODAY'S PUZZLE ** We have to admit that this sudoku from sujoyku and ChinStrap has a slightly longer ruleset than usual BUT this is SUCH a good puzzle we will absolutely forgive that. Placing a correct digit in a cell lifts fog from that cell and possibly other cells. All lines and attached circles are “split pea lines” and, between the circles, the lines function also as “index lines”. Digits on a “split pea line” between two circles sum to a two-digit number written using the digits in the circles. For example, 3_346_1 could be a valid split pea line, as 3+4+6=13, which is 1 & 3, the two circle digits. Each index line begins in one of the two line cells next to a circle (you must determine which). The digit in the Nth cell along the line (from the start cell) indicates the position along the line where the digit N appears. For example, 3214 is a valid index line, the 1st digit, 3, indicates that the 3rd digit is a 1, and so on. Lines do not cross or share cells with themselves or other lines. Each connected set of lines and circles has a distinct colour/ style.
