This week on St. Michael's Hill I'm making a start on the baseboards for the new layout, by building the frames which make up the modules. I'm using a super quick and easy method, pocket hole joinery, which has allowed me to build strong, accurate boards with almost no skill what so ever. It's been so easy! The wood I'm using to build the baseboards is 18mm poplar plywood which was cut to size from the company that supplied the wood, Avon Plywood: http://www.avonplywood.co.uk/ The method was given to me by James at DCC Automation: https://www.dcctrainautomation.co.uk/ Kreg K4 Pocket Hole Jig: https://amzn.to/2qrwH0m Gorilla Glue: https://amzn.to/34ECTRj Drill: https://amzn.to/36EcFjI Bar Clamps:https://amzn.to/36J1Qgo Bryn Mihangel is a 00 gauge layout depicting South Wales in the period from 1995-2005 that will be run via computer control. Building this layout is no doubt going to cost a lot of money, so if you fancy helping me out at no real cost to you, support the channel by shopping on Amazon using this link. Once you click on the link you shop as normal on Amazon but I'll get a few % of your basket spend direct from Amazon. It's a win-win all round: https://amzn.to/2SuA3c
