Mixing paints can be furstrating when you don’t get the results you want. This consistancy has worked PERFECT for me for a long time. In this video I demo how I mix my paints for a dutch pour. Robson Artist 🎨Paint Brand: A mix of brands. 🎨 Base Paint Ratios: 👉2 Parts American Floetrol - Amsterdam Titanium White 👉1 Part 🎨Paint 👉 Some Water 💧 to thin 🎨 Color Paint Ratios: 👉2 Part American Floetrol 👉1 Part 🎨Paint 👉.5 Part Water 💧 🔑TIPS: ⭐️Pre mixing your paints and letting them sit over night helps with air bubbles ⭐️If you don’t have the money for containers you can use recycled bottles from tea, or glass jars…anything that has a lid. Just clean it out. 😃 ⭐️For beginers I recomend investing in a food scale, you don’t have to but it helps as you get use to the feel of the paint consistency. ⭐️Mixing paints is NOT an exact science. Just make sure all the paints you use for one project are teh same in consistency. If they all happen to be thinker or thiner it’s fine, where you run into problems is when one is thicker than the other. ⭐️Make sure your paints are thin enough to very easily with your hair dryer.
