The theme of this year's TEDx event is 'why not' which aims at bringing about a change in the conventional mindset of the audience who ask themselves “Why?” all the time, but fail to ask “Why Not?".Our past is an evidence of rebellious change makers who refused to accept the traditional ways of the world and thus created a present and future full of opportunities for us. We hope to pass on this legacy of 'Why Not' to our audience who can swim against the current and then aspire to become the leaders of tomorrow. CEO - Invest India Mr. Deepak Bagla is the Managing Director & CEO of Invest India, the official Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of the Government of India. Mr Bagla brings two decades of work experience starting with the World Bank in Washington DC, followed by a stint with a major Indian business conglomerate, where he was involved with corporate planning and establishing green field projects. He was also a member of the committee established by the Government of India to recommend corporate governance norms for independent directors (2006).
