Watch the FULL video, complete with description & specs:    • The Martin GPC-X2E  Mahogany- demo by...   This was the 2nd to last demo we produced over a marathon video shoot -and Spoon really seemed to like this guitar. The X series Martin Guitars with a "2" in the model name, have 2 key upgrades to the lower models in the series. Having the model name include a 2, means the top is solid Sitka spruce, and the fingerboard & bridge are rosewood. These key features of the Martin GPC-X2E Mahogany are upgrades from the older versions, which had lesser materials on the fingerboard & bridge - and those guitars without the 2 in their name, have HPL (high pressure laminate) tops. The GPC-X2E Mahogany is a very versatile Martin guitar with a modern shape and a plug-n-play pickup system, It's a great choice for a gigging musician and, this model is also offered in 2 other versions: The Martin GPC-X2E Macassar, and the Martin GPC-X2E Rosewood. In all 3 versions, the back & side materials are HPL, but each is imprinted with images of the corresponding woodgrain for 3 different looks. The TONE of all 3 models is the same.
