Thea M. Silver is a Senior Director, Environmental Impact at the Royal Bank of Canada, bringing extensive leadership experience in the environmental not-for-profit and philanthropic sectors. Their background demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship and a proven ability to drive impactful initiatives. With a focus on program development and implementation, Thea has a track record of fostering sector and network collaborations. During their tenure at Environment Funders Canada, progressing from Program Director to Managing Director and Interim Executive Director, they were accountable for ensuring effective program development, sound financial and operational management, and maintaining strong relationships with members and sectoral partners. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing program initiatives that foster sector and network collaborations, building and sharing knowledge, and supporting effective environmental philanthropy.They also provided leadership and stability during a time of transition, ensuring successful implementation of programs and effective management of operations and governance. Prior to this, Thea served as Strategy, Environment Sector Lead at the Ontario Trillium Foundation, contributing to building healthy and vibrant communities in Ontario.
