Namaste to all Yoga Lovers💐🙏. Friends in this video I have told about the practice of Halasana. In English this is called Plough Pose. It is a forward bending yogasana. This is very helpful in making our spine flexible. It is also helpful for improving our digestive organ as well as lungs. Diabetic person can also practice this asana. The movement of the diaphragm which takes place during the practice of Halasana massages all the internal organs, activates the digestion relieving constipation and dyspepsia, revitalizes the spleen and promotes the production of insulin by pancreas. It improves liver and kidney functions. Halasana strengthen the abdominal muscles, relieves spasm in back muscles, tones the spinal nerves and increases blood circulation to the whole area. It regulate the activities of thyroid gland which balance the body's metabolic rate. It also improve the immune system. PRECAUTION-- Halasana should not be practiced by those who suffer from Hernia, Slipped disc, sciatica, high blood pressure or any serious by problem especially Arthritis of the neck.
