How to Make a Cold Shoulder Top | Easy Beginner Clothing Sewing Project | DIY

Learn how to make an easy cold shoulder top in this step by step sewing project - no pattern needed! It's made with a stretch knit fabric so it's comfortable and easy to fit, you can make it with long or short sleeves, and the off shoulder cutouts add a nice detail to what would be a basic fitted t-shirt! This is a great project to practice learning how to sew stretchy fabric. I only had 2/3 yard of a 58” wide fabric (“Brushed Buffalo Plaid”; 91% polyester 9% spandex) but I used every bit of it and didn’t have enough for long sleeves, so if you want longer sleeves or a larger size, you'll want at least 1 yard. FABRIC BUYING TIP: Avoid using a super lightweight stretch knit, especially if you’re new to sewing with knits, because they can be more challenging to sew.
