The mural in Kasargod alludes to the idea that soul’s of the older creatures live on and weaves the past and the present, through the imagery of the sea through time. The artist reminisces this bygone era, entwined with the present reality of the fishermen that inhabit it. Observing similarities in life on land and in the sea, where animals with homogenous functionalities exist in parallel spheres - the eagle rays thus take the form of birds in the composition. A play with the scale of the jellyfish and the manta-rays bring in a surreal element to the everyday life of the people.
