This can make finding a spare power outlet to charge your devices a bit of a nightmare. So, what makes this Super Premium GaN charger from Razer better than all the other chargers on the market? Let’s find out. Weighing in at over 12 ounces, this charging block is solid. The build quality is impressive, as it should be for a $180. It’s bigger and heavier than your average wall charger and takes up a fair chunk of power outlet real estate. But on the plus side, you can connect up to 4 devices for super-fast charging speeds. There are two USB-C ports, capable of charging up to 100W if you are only using one of the ports, if you are using both of them then it supports a maximum of 47w+65w This means it can easily charge a smartphone as well as provide some power for a USB-C powered laptop. Below the two USB-C ports are two USB type-A charging ports. If you’re only using one port, you can get up to 18w but if you use both then you can only get 5w from each port. Attach headphones, tablets and smartwatches for easy charging. High end capacitors and surge protection means your charger and devices are free from overheating, short circuits and voltage surges. You can charge from all four ports at once if you want, you would get 65w+47w+5w+5w. The 130w number comes from the total available output for all the ports combined. So, how does the Razer Portable Powerhouse hold up against your standard, manufacture-provided chargers? To test out just how fast the Razer charger is, we’ve set up an experiment. Two identical phones, two identical 0% batteries. The phone on the left here, we’ll be charging with the Razer Powerhouse. The one on the right will charge via the supplied charger. Let’s see who gets the job done first. Well, the proof is right here. The Razer got to 50% charge in just [X] minutes and was fully charged within [X] minutes.
