Women want to know the pros and cons of putting an implant on top of the pectoral muscle or below the pectoral muscle. That's a decision that needs to be made between the plastic surgeon and a patient based on her own individual characteristics. If a woman is already a C-cup and has a generous amour of skin, an implant on top of the muscle will give her a beautiful result and it might be less painful. If a woman's an A-cup and does not have a lot of loose skin, that implant should probably be placed under the muscle. It gives you a more natural cleavage line and plastic surgeons for years have believed that going under the muscle is actually a better way to handle the implant for the long term. Every time you move your muscle that implant gets a subtle squeeze and that might make the implant softer in the long run. Above the muscle an implant (breast implants) may be more visible.
