Public Service Loan Forgiveness: Overview & Updates | Spring 2025

If you’re employed by a government or not-for-profit organization or plan to be in the future, you might be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. PSLF forgives the remaining balance on your Federal Direct Student Loans after you’ve made the equivalent of 120 qualifying monthly payments under an accepted repayment plan while working full-time for an eligible employer. Join us as we discuss the basics of the PSLF program, rules for qualifying, and the latest updates to the program.
