After spending a few hours admiring the incredible scenery we completed the drive to Cafayate where we had some lunch and wine in a beautiful bodega called Piatelli which not only had great wine but also amazing food, service and views to die for! We explored the town of Cafayate before making the famous drive along Ruta 68 where we stopped off at all the incredible places along the way and explored them all. This route really is a must drive. We have driven some incredible roads in Argentina but this one really wowed us with it’s dramatic scenery and the places to see along the way between Cafayate and Salta. Next time!
