Installation Guide for Glass and Quartz Direct Connect (DC) Nebulizer

As a means to further assist your laboratory, we have organized this installation guide video for our Glass and Quartz DC Nebulizer models, which include the Conikal DC, MicroMist DC, SeaSpray DC, and Slurry DC. Our video highlights the step-by-step procedure to properly install and safely store the SeaSpray DC nebulizer. The featured ICP-OES instrument in our tutorial is the Agilent® 5000 Series ICP-OES. Although each DC nebulizer is designed to suit a specific ICP model, the installation and removal procedures for all Glass and Quartz DC nebulizers are very similar. The reliable ratchet “click-n-seal” fitting to the nebulizer gas arm ensures a leak-free gas connection, by clicking or ratcheting when a proper seal has been achieved and preventing overtightening. At the other end of the DC gas line is an ICP specific direct connect fitting to the argon gas supply. This improved gas connection helps to maintain optimal backpressure for consistent day-to-day nebulizer performance.
