And I started believing that maybe I was meant to stay small too. I remember sitting in cars with them late at night, talking about nothing. No dreams. No vision. Just distractions and cheap validation. And every time I went home, I felt emptier, like my potential was slowly bleeding out. What I didn’t realize back then was that energy is contagious. When you hang around people who settle, you start to forget what you’re capable of. If that’s you right now, surrounded by people who drain your drive, take this as your wake up call. You don’t need to cut everyone off overnight. But start pulling your energy back. Start protecting your environment. Start spending time alone until you attract people who remind you of your power.
