I sat down with Philip Johnston, the Founder of Starcloud at the company's Redmond HQ. Since my last video, Starcloud has successfully launched Starcloud1 the world's most powerful datacenter in space (by 100X!). Now everyone is trying to get a piece of the action. Elon Musk is getting in on it too... SpaceX has acquired xAI and plans to launch 1 million satellites in space. Google and Amazon are also following closely, as its becoming increasingly obvious 99% of of all compute is moving to space. Even Sam Altman was rumored to be buying a rocket company. I had a blast with Philip who breaks down his vision for Starcloud and the company's upcoming satellite launches, as well as their plans to launch an 88,000 satellite constellation for AI.
