Subscribe:    / @instituteforconnectingscie3464   _____ Speaking of the perception of the Budzhak territory, Professor of Odessa National University and Doctor of Historical Sciences Alexander Prigarin immediately notes that the initial understanding of this region was that of a “wild field,” which, however, is not true. "Wild" people inhabited the territory of Bessarabia (Budzhak), while the Novorossiysk project of the Russian Empire was the project of colonization, of the eviction of barbarians from the territories of Budzhak and the creation of a new model of ethnocultural life. Both internal resources (the population of Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians) and external resources (Germans, Czechs, Bulgarians, Gagauzes) were involved in this whole process. Now it is a territory from the Danube to the Don, where the culture of immigrants has retained its originality.
