Robert the Doll is a life-sized, cloth-filled figure with human-like features, including painted-on eyes and hair made of wool. He wears a sailor suit, reminiscent of those worn in the early 20th century, and carries a miniature version of a sailor's toy. Despite his outwardly innocent appearance, Robert has gained notoriety as a malevolent entity with a dark and sinister past. Legend has it that he was once owned by a young boy in Key West, Florida, who claimed that the doll would move on its own and even speak to him. Over time, the boy's behavior became increasingly erratic and disturbing, leading some to believe that Robert had somehow possessed him. Today, Robert the Doll is housed in a museum in Key West, where he is said to continue to wreak havoc on those who disrespect him or fail to ask his permission before taking his picture.
