Geoff Colman, Head of Acting at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama explains what staff are looking for at an audition and offers some guidance on how to prepare. Hear from current students as they provide an insight into the experience. The BA (Hons) Acting offers three specialist courses: Acting, Acting Collaborative and Devised Theatre (CDT) and Acting Musical Theatre. Intense conservatoire training requires utter dedication and demands courage, intelligence, wit and generosity. Central’s professional actor training is legendary with award-winning graduates including Rupert Everett, Martin Freeman, Andrew Garfield, Carrie Fisher and Vanessa Redgrave amongst others.
