Saturday Shenanigans With Mom! 🛒 Thrift Stores, Fruit Market & House Purging | Day 17 365 Challenge

Shopping around town with Mom, the Poverello Thrift Store closing sale in Pompano Beach. Exchanging some Blue Bell Ice Cream for Auntie and grabbing a bite to eat at Flannigan's restaurant. Lastly, I'm running to Old Time Pottery to get replacement patio cushions. Happy Saturday! Day 17 of my 365-day challenge started off a little slow after an 8:00 AM wake-up call from a solicitor (I was in that good sleep too!). [00:31] But once I finally got moving, the day turned into a full-on adventure with Mom Dukes. The sun is out, the melanin is glistening, and it’s finally t-shirt weather again in South Florida! [02:14] We spent the day hitting up a thrift store that’s going out of business—got a whole shirt for Jose for $1! [06:32] We also stopped by a local fruit market where the basil was only 25 cents a pound (pesto, anyone?) and a very bold young man tried to shoot his shot with me! [08:20] To top off the "wins" for today, remember how I said I wanted to purge the house? Well, the universe heard me! I woke up from a nap to find Jose already unprovoked and purging his own closet.
