This off roading bike trip is no where near any traditional off roading that you see online, it’s more like an amateur off roading bike video. The Citi bike is a healthy way to get around the city & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT for tourist who wants to explore NYC. Not only are you going to see more but you’ll get the full NYC experience. If you are a New Yorker and you are considering in utilizing the Citi electric bike instead of buying an electric bike I would recommend you to keep reading this description. —————————————————————————— There are different passes for different type of bike riders... SINGLE RIDES - If you are going to ride the citi bike Classic, once in a blue, then the “Single rides - $3.50 FOR 30MIN” is the option for you. DAY PASS - if you are planning to do multiple trips around the city I recommend the “Day pass - $15 FOR 24H 30MIN Unlimited.” For people who ride bikes once in a blue as well. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP if you see yourself renting the Citi bike a lot then the “Annual pass - $179 FOR 45m Unlimited.” Is the option for you! —————————————————————————— If you are planning on buying the annual pass as a New Yorker I only RECOMMEND this if you are taking a lot of short trips around the city. The Citi bike are very reliable and nice to ride but it’s not meant to be riden on long trips and I’ll tell you why down below. —————————————————————————— CITI BIKES HAS LOTS OF FEES!!! Single Ride FEES: -After 30m Citi Bike would charge you $0.18 per min if you don’t dock it. (1h extra would be 60min x $0.18 = $10.80 extra) -ebike, is an additional extra $0.18/min. Day pass FEES: After 30m Citi Bike charges $4 for every 15m if you don’t dock it. (1h extra would be 15min x $4 = $16 extra) -ebike, is an additional extra $0.18/min. ANNUAL FEES: -After 45m Citi Bike charges $0.12 per min if you don’t dock it. (1h extra would be 60min x $0.12 = $7.20 extra.) -ebike for an additional $0.12/min, capped at $3 for rides 45 minutes or less that start or end outside Manhattan. FEE FOR ALL BIKES -The FEE for a LOST or STOLEN bike is $1200 (+ tax).
