Since being acquired by the Seattle Kraken off of waivers, Finnish Winger Eeli Tolvanen has come up with several big goals in big moments for his team. He scored the Kraken’s first franchise playoff goal, and the first goal in the 2024 Winter Classic on January 1st, exactly one year after his debut with the team, a game in which he also scored the game-winning goal. Despite his knack for coming up big when it counts, his journey to The Deep was one fraught with uncertainty, and required much risk, work, and sacrifice. Kraken Hockey Network broadcaster Piper Shaw offers insight into how it has all paid off, right on Tolvy’s time.
