This BeeVac is really easy and cheap to make and will make your bee cut-outs so much faster. So Sorry! - I cited wrong pipe sizes twice. I stated 1 1/2" when the size was 1" and, then, 1 1/2" when the size was 2". I sure you can easily spot my errors and apply the correct sizes. I have never needed to regulate the suction. The suction power is just about right with the design the way it is. I've used it to vacuum many swarms and cut-outs with no bee loss problems. One of the big advantages of this design is that you can easily change catch buckets. I've had cut-outs that were so large that I needed two buckets to contain all the bees. With this system, that's really easily done.
