Sorting waste at home is easy and an important responsibility for all Swedish citizens. In this video, I explain the paper bag designed by the Swedish regions and highlight the important information written on the outside of the bag. Then, I take you through a journey showing how we sort our organic waste, plastic, and paper packaging at home. I also demonstrate how the pant machine (recycling machine for bottles and cans) works in Swedish shopping centers. My son shows how we place the organic waste bag into the brown bin located outside our fence, which is collected by the garbage truck every two weeks. He also donates used books to the Red Cross organization. Later, I show how we dispose of plastic and paper waste in the large recycling bins located around the city. Finally, I share a glimpse of the second-hand market in Visby.
