New day hospital to offer life saving therapies at Mountain View Hospital

A groundbreaking day hospital dedicated to treating patients with blood cancers and other blood disorders is set to open at Mountain View Hospital. The 1,200-square-foot facility will provide cellular therapy and stem cell transplants, crucial treatments for many blood-related conditions. Dr. Carolyn Mulroney, the medical director of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, highlighted the significance of the new facility. "Prior to us bringing these here, patients would have to travel to Southern California or the Phoenix area or Salt Lake City in order to get these therapies," she said.
