This is just a quick and easy tutorial showing you how to shape hot dog bread rolls. Enjoy! Bread recipe: 500g Strong wholemeal bread flour (Recipe can be cut with 50% Strong White Bread Flour if you prefer) 1 sachet Easy Bake yeast (roughly 7g) Salt 1.5 tsp 1 tbsp Vtalite (or and other vegetable spread/ butter) 1 tbsp brown sugar 300ml Warm water Step 1: Thoroughly mix dry ingredients together in a bowl Step 2: Make a well in the middle and add in warm water. Using a fork, mix the water and flour together until a rough dough is formed. Knead briefly in the bowl making sure all the ingredients are combined into one mound Step 3: Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 10-15 minutes or until smooth and stretchy Step 4: Place in a bowl or leave on a chopping board to prove. The mixture should at least double in size. This could take a few hours depending on how warm the room is Step 5: When the dough has doubled in size, knock the air out of it and re-knead lightly. At this point, you can divide and shape your dough. After shaping your dough, leave to prove for a second time, as in the video, before baking. ENJOY!
