Royal Navy HMS Prince of Wales CSG arrives in Singapore
Aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales arrived in Singapore on Monday 23rd at Marina Bay Cruise Centre. The ship is leading the Royal Navy’s 2025 carrier strike group deployment to the Far East, known as Operation Highmast. The ship's company lined up around the flight deck as she was manoeuvred into her berth. The stop coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the UK and Singapore. In 2023, the UK and Singapore elevated their relationship to a strategic partnership, significantly deepening cooperation between the two countries. This ship will be conducting Port visits in Indonesia, Australia, Japan and South Korea, as well as participating in the Australian led Talisman Sabre 25 exercise due to start on July 13th. #royalnavy #singapore #unitedkingdom
