Rusty scouted ahead after leaving Wild Rivers Recreation Area and he found us a perfect spot next to Red River called Goat Hill. The campground is located between Questa and Red River, New Mexico. There are about 6 spots, all close to the river with pit toilets and bear-proof trash cans at the campground. The river is beautiful, cool, and swift. Jupe loved it. Even though this is a road side campground, the river drowns out the noise of the cars passing by.
