Railside Ride - Avontuur Narrow Gauge Railway Part 1 - Chelsea to Greenbushes

This is part 1 of the Railside Ride Series, where we explore the Avontuur Narrow Gauge Railway. The world famous Apple Express operated on this line, with the final train running to Avontuur back in 2010. The line has remained unused for more than 13 years, and we compare some areas in current day to footage from my old scanned photographs and ripped VHS tapes. Part 1 starts from behind Baywest Mall (Hunters Retreat), travel through Chelsea Junction to Greenbushes, staying close to the line as far as possible. Points of interest along the way include the old Chelsea quarry and the EPPC brachline junction.
