This video can not be taken or reuploaded without permission from me* A fresh and chilly morning at the southside bank at Manchester Airport, overlooking the Runway 23L threshold. A perfect location for close up take off spools! This video features 49 take offs and 2 landings, all captured within a 5 hour period from 7am till midday. Some great lighting to begin with, a very golden and Autumnal morning wave of departures off to warmer climates Movements of particular interest for me include some special liveries, both from Etihad and Emirates, a rare visit from a Turkish A350, Jet2's 757 fleet which is soon due to retire, and the Juneyao Boeing 787 which has a very stunning livery.
