This video lecture gives an insight into the histogenesis, clinical picture, radiographic features, histopathology and treatment modalities of Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumor (AOT). This is also called two-third tumor. some authors regard this as hamartoma whilw others as benign neoplasm. Radiographically it appears as a pericoronal radiolucency when associated with unerupted tooth. Pericoronal radiolucency extends apically beyond Cemento Enamel Junction. Histologically, solid nests of cuboidal, columnar cells are seen arranged in rosette-like pattern. Tubular or ductal structures are seen lined with columnar cells and nucei is placed away from the lumen. The lumen may be empty or filled with eosinophilic coagulum.
