We examine the famous diorite statue of Khafre/Chephren with microscopy to try and determine what METHOD was used to polish it, Not what MEDIA it was polished WITH; this is a point that most commenters fail to understand or distinguish between. The microscopy evidence ( featured at the end of the video, which most commenters also fail to watch ) focuses on straight, parallel scratches, and the absence of circular, random scratches, a clear indication that hand polishing was not utilized in the sample areas.
