"CONK" (Insane Demon) by SirHadoken [All Coins] | Geometry Dash 2.11

This is a level that SirHadoken has been working on for a little while now, and I was very excited to see the full level after watching the previews. Note how I said "see" and not "play". Naturally, I gave this a go in practice and a bit in a copyable as I was playtesting it, but it became apparent that this is quite difficult, but also not very enjoyable to play as the previews foreshadowed. I think that's something all of you can tell by just watching. The song is by the TheLivingTombstone, and the gameplay moves around and changes suddenly to match the song. This makes it difficult to enjoy. In terms of synchronization to the song, though, this is great. SirHadoken has always made clean design levels, but the effects in this level make it stand out so much more than his other works. Visually, it has to be his best in my opinion. However, it's far from his best gameplay-wise. When he offered me his footage of the level, I knew I had to upload it because I think this level is great to behold, but not so much to play, and I don't know how many people will try to beat this. If you watch his own video and read the description, he details why he made this level, which I think is a good read. To summarize, he basically wanted to make a level for fun without following any norms, and I think that's a good thing. You should be creating for fun. I'm excited to see if SirHadoken can make more interesting levels like this in the future, but perhaps with better gameplay. If you love weird memory gameplay, you should give this a go. If not, then I'd pass and just enjoy the video.
