I present to you my current alocasia collection - a couple of established plants, a few small ones, some rehabs and some lessons I've learned along the way. This is an honest look at my alocasia journey and the wins and struggles involved. I might not be an alocasia expert and a few of them may be kicking my butt, BUT my love for the genus is pushing me to learn more about them and what keeps them happy in my home. I started with an Alocasia Polly almost two years ago and, as it started doing well, I slowly added a few more (some more "ambitious" than others 😅). Since then I've grown plants from corms, lost a few, I'm rehabbing some right now and I'm learning a lot about what these prima donnas need. Right now I have: 🪴 Two established Alocasias in LECA 💧 Three I still need to transition to semihydro ❤️🩹 One rehab in a prop box 🌱 Plus a few I'm growing from corms My goal is to transition the whole collection to LECA/ semihydro over time, so I share a bit about those plans as well. If you're curious about growing alocasias, or dealing with setbacks, I hope this feels relatable and realistic 💚 Timestamps: 00:00 - Intro 00:49 - Alocasia Polly 04:04 - Alocasia Micholitziana 07:59 - Alocasia Melo 12:15 - Alocasia Azlanii 18:55 - Alocasia Dragon Scale 19:54 - Alocasia Antoro Velvet 21:49 - Alocaia Heterophylla Dragon's Breath 24:24 - Alocasia Frydek 26:29 - Alocasia Black Velvet Pink Variegated 28:55 - Semi Hydro Plans 31:51 - One More Corm Baby & Outro
