UP: Nagla Nathpura village in Mainpuri district facing lack of civic facilities

Nagla Nathpura village in Bewar Block of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh is still lacking basic civic facilities. Villagers don’t have any permanent road. They have to cross through fields to reach the main road. Children are also unable to go to school due to lack of road facilities. “The biggest issue that we're facing is about the roads, our village does not have any pucca road. We have to cross through fields to reach the main road,” said a villager. “If someone falls ill, it is not possible to save his life as it becomes difficult to reach the hospital because of the lack of roads. We have complained at every door but no one is solving our problems, our village is not even on the map,” he added. “We have many pet snakes, we show these snakes to people in the village to earn money. We are unable to go to school for 4 months, the fields are filled with water. If we cross anyone's farm without the permission of the farm owner, they beat us,” said a child.
