Jagex has done A Yama AMA on reddit, and after reading these I have a bit higher hopes regarding the leak and what people were speculating. A lot of juicy details were revealed about the boss and roughly how it will work. There was also a lot of discussion on the contract system and why they chose to go with it in the first place. As a whole I have major issues with a lot of aspects of Yama's design but this really did help shed light on how the boss will work. I have a massive amount of respect for the Jmods accepting some of these blame for disappointment from players and putting themselves out there answering questions quickly about Yama. I do believe Jagex needs to encourage people to get into content by lowering the barrier of entry instead of raising it, removing wipe cost at TOB if someone in the party is under 10kc for example would be really good for reducing toxicity.
