People renting from Runaway Bay Apartments near Grandview Heights turned to ABC 6 after seeing their community become a magnet for pop-up parties, crime, and trespassing. Residents say the trouble heightens every summer, with a massive parking lot party with hundreds of potential trespassers happening on Tuesday night. "Seven different police officers came on Tuesday and had to call back up," Cassady added. "They couldn't even get it under control. It seems like management doesn't want to do anything about this at this point. It's very concerning to all of us living here because we want a safe and secure property to live in." The main gate to the Runaway Bay apartment complex has been broken for months.
