When you compete at a tournament organized through RobotCombatEvents.com, your robot earns points based on how well it does, and then your rank is determined by adding up the points from your top 3 events. Cheesecake’s top 3 events earned him just over 45 points in total. https://www.robotcombatevents.com/typ... This tournament is a double elimination bracket. Each fight lasts 3 minutes. You win by disabling your opponent so they can no longer move. If a robot cannot move, it will get counted out on a ten-second countdown. If they can only drive in circles, that is usually enough movement to avoid being counted out. If both robots are still moving at the end of the fight, then the winner is declared by a panel of judges, who score each robot on damage (done to the opponent) aggression (how much each robot initiates the engagements) and control (how much control you have over the fight). Drivers are allowed to tap out at any time during the fight.
