Day 4| North Coast 500 – Bow Fiddle Rock to Dornoch Day 4 of our North Coast 500 adventure takes us along some incredible stretches of Scotland’s northeast coast. We start the day at the iconic Bow Fiddle Rock, exploring the dramatic sea caves carved by the North Sea before heading south to Lossiemouth for a well-earned ice cream stop at Miele’s of Lossie 🍦. From there, it’s our longest drive of the day as we continue on to the Black Isle over the iconic bridge to Avoch Harbour, soaking in the peaceful coastal views before stopping at Chanonry Point in the hope of spotting dolphins. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side today, but the views alone made the stop worthwhile. Next up is the magical Fairy Glen Falls, followed by a challenging but rewarding uphill walk to the Fyrish Monument, offering sweeping views across the surrounding landscape. We round off the day by arriving at the Morangie Hotel in Tain, ready to rest up for the next leg of the NC500. Another full day of driving, walking, and unforgettable scenery on the road.
