~wO Me talking after re-reading n1x land's g/acc blackpaper, i was very tired i dont like jung on masochists rq: uhm loss and pleasure, or insecurity and the fufillment of said insecurity, is the basis for lack's dialectical workings and as we know is how things, work. the lack and plesure are heavily intertwined as pleasure itself is a form of loss and lack, and so the logical conclusion of pleasure as insecurity, and loss as fufillment, as death as life, is the death drive of people that is shown in everyday life. when the death drive is productive, its "normal", when it's unproductive, it becomes "mental illness" and needs to be "cured" for the sake of capital. the logical conclusion of the death drive could be fascism, if taken to reactionary life-affirmation in death, or self-destructive behavior, if taken to the progressive anti-oppressive approach, and so casess like masochism is actually the truly mentally sane cases. cases like depression or masochism or the self-defeating in behavior are the true mental sanes, but of course they'll say it's "insane" to say such a thing, because it's not productive to capital, or to culture at all.
