It’s a starry night in Numberland, Ten is putting the Numberblobs to sleep on a 10-frame bed, with a special version of the nursery rhyme ‘Ten in the Bed’. At first, the Numberblobs all roll over and fall out, one at a time, each time counting how many Numberblobs are left on the ten-frame bed. Embarking on an epic ride the bed turns into a rocket with Ten joining the rocket race and blasting up into space, and narrowly avoiding an asteroid. The Numberblobs abort the bed and use Ten as their bed, as she safely transports them back to Numberland and finally sends them to sleep.
