Rediscovering Miles Rock, a presentation and panel discussion commemorating the life and legacy of Miles Rock, one of Lehigh's first graduates in the Class of 1869, May 2, 2024 More than 120 years after his death, Rock’s great-great-grandsons, brothers Chris Grace and David Grace, donated to the Lehigh University Libraries, Special Collections his records and relics, where they will be preserved and made publicly available for research. The collection provides insight into the life of one of the first self-made Lehigh graduates and the multi-faceted engineer. The panel discussion features Boaz Nadav-Manes, University Librarian; Lois Fischer Black, Director of the Lehigh Libraries Special Collections; Chris Grace and David Grace, great-great grandsons of Miles Rock; Casey Kies, Ph.D. student and guest curator of the exhibit “Rediscovering Miles Rock”; and Devin Finn, Visiting Assistant Professor, International Relations.
