Pink City, Jaipur ! A weekend road trip from Delhi to Jaipur. Your perfect getaway from Delhi for the weekend or a short stay. Beautiful highways and Aravalli ranges as far as eyes can see throughout your journey. We made an impromptu plan to go visit the forts of Jaipur during the weekend. Even though it was a one night plan we ended up staying for 4 days and still felt we needed more time to explore the city properly till our hearts' were content. Jaipur has so much to offer. A culturally rich heritage with magnificent forts and palaces Jaipur has so much to offer to every type of tourist wanting to visit this place. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence. Renowned globally for its coloured gems, the capital city of Rajasthan combines the allure of its ancient history with all the advantages of a metropolis. Chaotic, colourful streets, the bustling bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthan jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are a treasure-trove for the shoppers.
