It really is a compliment that people want a catalog from us so that they can continue to buy quality classic Chevy parts. The unfortunate thing, is that we do not have a printed catalog of all our parts. I know, you're probably saying to yourself “What are these guys thinking? I want to make ordering from them easier but they refuse to get with the program!” I know, a catalog would be nice, but here is our rationale as to why we have replaced the printed catalog with our on-line store: ONE: Since we specialize in original used Chevy parts, our inventory is constantly changing both in availability and condition, which ultimately affects the price Listing a ton of used parts in a catalog is like a meteorologist predicting next weeks forecast, except the weather man can be wrong 70% of the time and we still go back to him. That doesn't seem right You see, many of these parts are not reproduced making them extremely rare. By the time we print a catalog, chances are, the parts in the catalog have already been sold. And even if we had more in stock, the range of their condition changes which means the price also changes. Imagine a catalog with a picture that reads, “This is what your part may look like and it will cost somewhere between A and Z.” Not that impressive. The alternative that we have come up with is to list our parts online or have people call us at the shop. This allows us to provide up-to-date product availability, condition, and pricing. TWO: The second reason is that since printed catalogs are not cheap and in light of the complications previously mentioned, the return on investment is not worth it. Instead of spending the time on printing a catalog we are investing our time in listing our classic Chevy parts online.
